Consultant & Executive Math Trainer

I’ve always looked for a free, simple, and effective tool to practice math that mirrors the speed and accuracy required in consulting, executive roles, and high-stakes business settings. I couldn’t find one that fit my needs, so I decided to build it myself.

This trainer is designed to sharpen mental math under pressure while staying minimalistic and distraction-free. It adapts to how consultants, executives, and professionals actually use math in the real world: quick estimates, error tolerance, and fast decision-making.

Features

  • Customizable Operations → Choose addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or percentages

  • Difficulty Levels → Simple (≤3 digits), Medium (≤6 digits), Hard (≤10 digits)

  • Percentages Mode → Phrased as “a% of b” with ranges tailored to realistic business cases

  • Error Tolerance → Set how far off your answer can be (e.g., 5%, 10%, 15%). Builds skill in quick approximation

  • Timer & Quick Picks → Train with or without a countdown; quick-select 60s, 120s, or 180s sessions.

  • Instant Feedback → Your answer flashes in a pill box, the actual answer shown alongside. Correct/incorrect flashes in green or red, keeping the pace fast without breaking focus.

  • Performance Tracking → At the end of each round, see your accuracy, average time per calculation, and percentage correct—plus improvements vs previous rounds.

  • Keyboard-first → Submit with Enter, stop with Esc, reset with R, replay with Space. xN macros (e.g., 12x3 → 12,000) speed up typing.

  • Minimalist UI → Black-and-white focused design, adaptive timer bar, clean pill-style feedback, and compact settings.

Who Can Benefit

  • Consultants & Case Interview Candidates → Practice the kind of math you’ll be tested on in interviews and real client work.

  • Executives & Managers → Stay sharp for quick mental estimates, financial reviews, and decision-making on the fly.

  • Students & Professionals → Build confidence in mental math for exams, presentations, and negotiations.

  • Anyone who wants to get faster and more accurate with numbers in everyday life.
